Who would’ve guessed – yet another Mike Meyers certification study guide! Jokes aside, if you’re familiar with the rest of the Certification Book Reviews I’ve covered on this website you’ll know that Mike Meyers is the uncontested champion of CompTIA study guides – and for good reason. Like Michael Jordan, Mike very rarely misses and this exam guide is no exception, the contents of this book are well laid out and complete and contain everything you’ll need to pass your CompTIA Network+ certification exam. To make it even better, Mike has a Udemy page that’s very reasonably priced to accommodate your studying which includes a video series to more clearly lay out some of more complex networking concepts (like packet encapsulation).

In addition to covering all of you certification study needs, this book includes enough diagrams, images, and tool screenshots to clearly lay out all of the concepts you’ll need to successfully pass your Network+ exam. Unsurprisingly, like all of Mike’s study material, this book is laid out perfectly – the spacing between each topic, the formatting and punctuation of the text, and the way in which Mike skillfully summarizes even the most complex concepts is abundantly apparent in this study guide (it also helps that the contents of this exam aren’t nearly as boring as that of the CompTIA A+)! Wrapping up this review, I don’t think it should be a surprise to anyone that I highly recommend this study guide in addition to anything else Mike’s written. The passion and experience Mike manages to bring to all of his study material made this study guide a pleasure to read, and if you decide to pick up this book for yourself I’m sure you’ll agree as well.
